The Stone Barn
The renovation of a large stone dwelling, incorporating the refurbishment of the main barn, including the relocation of the kitchen into the stable block building, with the removal of the existing low ceilings to expose the dramatic old timber trusses.
The enclosing of the external stone-columned covered walkway with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, to create an internal ‘cloister’ linking the various stone outbuildings (including the gym and the pool house). The construction of a large attic conversion.
The provision of a new Combined Heat & Power (CHP) system, and a bank of solar thermal panels, for heating the buildings.
